Dee Audet, the newly appointed Director of the VDOT Professional Services Procurement Office, brings a wealth of experience to the role. As former Assistant Division Administrator in the Traffic Engineering Division, Dee directed all procurement for the Division, including professional services contracts, as well as a wide range of goods and services contracts, including complex, high-risk performance contracts. In addition, Dee was instrumental in establishing the model for the federally approved process for the RAAP Oncall Construction Contracts first used in Traffic Engineering and now throughout the agency.
She has extensive experience in VDOT procurement and program management and has held progressively responsible roles in her 17 year tenure with VDOT. Prior to joining VDOT, Dee worked with the Virginia Department of Education, Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce in workforce development and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. She holds a Virginia Contracting Officer certification.
