DBE Matchmaking

If you register to attend or sponsor this year’s DBE Symposium at any level, you are automatically invited to host Matchmaking appointments on Thursday afternoon after the end of the Symposium. Please take this opportunity to meet DBE firms interested in doing business with you! Let us know that you will be there.

Be sure to take this opportunity to network with prime contractors and consultants, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms, and Virginia Department of Transportation Districts and Divisions. The one-on-one Matchmaking appointments are a way for you to reach out to prime contractors and consultants looking to make business commitments with businesses like yours. You can also gather important information from key VDOT district and division personnel.

To make our Matchmaking Event a success, we need to know that you will be there. Whether you are a Prime Contractor/Consultant or a DBE firm, please make sure to follow the steps below by March 17, 2022.

1. Register to attend the 2022 DBE Symposium and select the option to participate in Matchmaking.
2. Fill out your participation form:

   Click here for the DBE Business Profile Form.
3. Once you have registered to attend the 2022 DBE Symposium and have returned the Participation Form or the DBE Business Profile Form, you will be contacted in order to determine your schedule for the Matchmaking appointments.

Matchmaking appointments will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the day of the event in 10-minute intervals. All Matchmaking sessions are virtual, and once confirmed, the appropriate Google Meet link will be provided. Appointment times are limited and made on a first-come, first-served basis.
